Blender 3D 3.6.0 Free Installation on Linux

As we continue to develop and improve Blender, it's essential to adapt to changing environments and platforms. Unfortunately, Ubuntu is no longer stable enough to serve as our compile platform due to numerous flaws and bugs that hinder our progress. As a result, we've switched to Rocky Linux version 8 for compilation and testing.

Our current development build is based on Blender 4.1 Alpha, which provides us with a week's window to address any issues that may arise from the merge. After creating the developer build, we incorporate new Blender features, keeping in mind that this version is always one week behind the official release or contains fixes for known bugs.

The Developer Build is designed for users who cannot compile source code but want to explore the development state. This undocumented snapshot is only available as a zip file and can be accessed on Github. For those interested, you'll find precompiled libraries for all previous Blender versions on our website.
